Chapter 1 - Like a Lion - Page 4 (Page 15)

UPDATE: Here's the color version.

Oh, it's been a long time coming. 8D Sorry this took so long. When I wasn't busy with school, I was working on my reference sheet (which eventually transformed into a reference sheet/anatomy lesson/style practice/etc.). I finally took a break from it just so that I can get at least one page out over winter break.

So, yeah, I'm trying out some new styles/techniques, as you can probably tell. XD;; Since I was using a bunch of different references, tutorials, and brushes, I'll make a journal post soon with what I used. ;) Oh, and because I'm now adding cute little details, I increased the page size somewhat to accommodate. =D

Since classes start in a few days, I don't know when I'll be able to work on the next page. Don't give up on me, though--I've no intention of letting this project end so soon. >:3

I'll also continue in trying to not overcrowd every page. The less stuff per page, the faster I can release them. XD And thanks again to my sister ~Linebreaker for providing input and critique. 8D

Stuff about the page itself! I wanted to point out that in panel 4, Leonard is doing the "A-OK!" symbol. I realized after I was satisfied with how it looked that it has different connotations for different people. XD;; I've always known it as a positive symbol and something that's not offensive, so please see it that way, as well. :> I also feel that Rapacci would pronounce the word "nonchalant" as my dad likes to pronounce it, because he's silly: Non-shay-lent. XD;; Ah, and I almost forgot to mention that pretty much all of those backgrounds you see . . . are taken directly from the game via my ancient TV tuner. XD Not the best at taking pictures, but it works in a pinch! 8D

I'm loving the comic so far! Everything looks fantastic! It makes me so happy to see fan art for this game. It doesn't get enough. Also, serious lolz at dramatic Rapacci :XD:
